14th January,2105 afternoon Dr.Guowei gave a lecture abtout geosynthetic tubes

Dr. Guo Wei obtained his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University which is ranked No. 8 in Civil Engineering in the world. He continues his research work as Post-Doctor immediately after he submitted his PhD thesis. He is currently the Project Coordinator for an S$4.919 million dollar project sponsored by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore.
The research work on geosynthetic tubes have already been remarked by the world authority on geosynthetic tubes, Prof Dov Leshchinsky. The qualities and originalities of the research works on geosynthetic tubes have also been testified by the 6 SCI journal papers published on Geotextiles and Geomembranes (IF = 2.704) which is classified as one of the top journal in Civil Engineering. His research studies have also involved suction caisson, watertight sheet piles and vacuum preloading using horizontal drains.
