Each year, the Chinese Government through the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) awards already enrolled Excellent Degree Students of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology Outstanding International Student Scholarships as a way of encouraging them and other students to study and diligently work hard.

This year, five (students) from various schools among the awarded candidates undertook a Cultural Trip to China’s capital city, Beijing. This was a four (4) days trip in which CSC candidates from all around China met for an organized cultural and educational tour.

The trip organized had a combination of insights both Cultural and Technological advances the Republic of China has made from History to date. These involved Economic Reforms from various eras, Scientific and technological reforms and advances. Students visited places such as UCAS (University of Chinese Academy of Sciences), Agri Garden, Agricultural high-tech Industry Demonstration area of the Yellow River Delta, National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Park, CPPCC and other historical sites.

Business and Enterprise Class – Yanjing Beer Group

Culture Class – 40 years of Achievements in Reform and Opening Up

Political Class – Visiting the Exhibition of the Political and Cultural Affairs Museum of the CPPCC

Education class – Finals, “Excellent Scholarship Student” Award Ceremony

The tour ended with a Friendship Party where students exhibited various performances and skills on stage at the University of International Business and Economics (Conference Hall).
