In March 24th, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology held a ceremonious ceremony for the 2017 French Civil Engineering (China France project) in the Xiao Heshan campus. The president of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and the president of Université de Cergy-Pontoise,the leaders of the relevant departments and the two level college, and the representatives of the 2017 graduates, the grade 2014, the 2015 and the 2016, and the parents of the graduates from the civil engineering of the civil engineering, and the parents of the graduates participated in the ceremony. The ceremony opened the curtain in the melodious music..All the guests and students reviewed the wonderful moments of the life of the 2017 college graduates. The graduates who were studying in France also sent a video to express their gratitude to the school and the project.

After the beautiful guzheng performance brought by Chen Yige, a 2016 grade student in civil engineering, the ceremony began. President Ye Gaoxiang of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, President Francois of Germinet Université de Cergy-Pontoise, Mr. Fabien Chareix, the education consul of the French Consulate in Shanghai,and Luo Zhanyou, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Bruno Fiorio, the Joint head of legal party of sino - French project, issued a passionate speech.

President Ye Gaoxiang highly affirmed the achievements of the Sino French project and hoped that the cooperation between China and France will continue to achieve new achievements.

President Francois Germinet greatly appreciated the contribution of the Sino French project to promote the cooperation between the two schools since the founding of the Chinese and French projects, expressed congratulations to the graduates, and was proud of the graduates and wished the students a bright future.

Luo Zhanyou, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Bruno Fiorio, the Joint head of legal party of sino - French project, also delivered a speech at the ceremony to congratulate the 2017 graduates on obtaining a bachelor's degree in the law, and the two parties will continue to work hard to achieve more results.

Chen Mingming, the representative of graduates, and MS. Huang Jiangying, the representative of student parents, also delivered speeches to express their heartfelt thanks to both Chinese and French teachers.

Then the French principal professor Francois Germinet and the Chinese principal professor Ye Gaoxiang, jointly issued a bachelor's degree certificate for the 2017 graduates and took a photo with each of the graduates to record the precious moment.

Finally, the ceremony ended in the French singing of Tang Ruizhe, the 2015 grade student in civil engineering.The ceremony was a great success!

In the past five years, the civil engineering double degree program has passed the evaluation of Chinese and foreign cooperative education by the Ministry of education.  The first graduate of the project has 62 students who have obtained a double degree in China and France. 24 first graduates went to France and the United States for master's degree through the project, and two batches of 37 students went to Université de Cergy-Pontoise in France.Sino French two highly affirmed the results of the project, and the project as a model of international exchange and cooperation to build.

In the morning of March 24th, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and Université de Cergy-Pontoise signed a Sino French cooperation agreement. Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and Université de Cergy-Pontoise cooperation will continue to expand cooperation, continuously made new achievements!
