Mr.Sun, from ISAC and in charge of students majoring in Civil Engineering and Architecture from the School of Civil Engineering & Architecture held an important meeting with his students to raise awareness and remind students of a wide range of issues pertaining to their study and stay at ZUST.

“Winter has fast approached and students need to be frequently reminded that having been born and raised in Hangzhou, I understand what it means to be cold and some measures you would want to put in place to ensure that you keep warm and attend classes on time. Among them, electric blankets!” he stated while laughing.

The meeting was opened with these remarks.

Mr. Sun had outlined a list of important factors for students to remember and these were:

Ì  护照签证事宜/Passport and Visa Issues;

He emphasized on the importance of VISA expiry dates, application and collection times while citing important events that have occurred as a result of not adhering to this issue. Adding to it, he critically encouraged students to attend all classes so as to meet the stipulated requirement for VISA extension. 

Ì  教学管理规定事宜/Academic Rules;

He encouraged students to continue abiding by Academic rules.

Ì  宗教事宜/Religious Issues;

Ì  交通安全事宜/Traffic Safety Issues;

Ì  住宿安全事宜/Accommodation Issues;

Ì  奖学金事宜/Scholarship Issues;

Ì  案例介绍/Cases

Having said all this, explaining each and every point, he gave the students time to ask questions and inquire were they needed clarity on.

He concluded the meeting and thanked each and every student for attending this meeting and further wished them all the best as they prepare for their end of semester exams.
