April 6, 2017 at 2 pm, Zhejiang Institute of Architectural Design Professor Liu Xingwang was invited to our college for urban rail transit safety protection technology, academic report, graduate students and part of the civil engineering faculty attended the lecture.

Professor Liu Xingwang analyzed the current situation of the construction of rail transit facilities in Hangzhou, the difficulty of the construction of metro tunnels in soft soil area of Zhejiang province and the various unfavorable factors encountered in shield tunnel.He studied the effects of various construction activities on adjacent subway foundation pit and shield tunnel, including horizontal displacement, vertical displacement and radial convergence. He cited a large number of engineering cases, the use of engineering monitoring data, intuitive display of adjacent excavation, pile construction, such as the impact of the tunnel. And he also put forward the prevention and control measures for the construction of the rail transit facilities.
