On April 1, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture leader Xia Jianzhong and Yang Jianhui visited Daciyan town. They had a discussion on deepening the cooperation between the school and the town, recruiting talents and building the Party.

Before the meeting, the delegation visited Xinye village, Daciyan Central Primary School Kunqu Opera house base, Liye Shili lotus pond and Feifeng spiritual farm. They were accompanied by Daciyan government.

During the meeting, the experts from ZUST combined their professional knowledge and provided key ideas and opinions ranging from rural revitalization and beautiful town planning, to making full use of the school's human resources to help the town’s development. They had in-depth exchanges on the establishment of a long-term cooperation, the establishment of think tanks, and continued joint activities between the university and local government.

Going forward, both sides will focus on specific work and implement the cooperative projects one by one. Promotion of the town’s brand, architectural and cultural research on the town’s ancient village, industrial and real estate development and personnel training are a few things that are guaranteed to quicken the town’s development.
