School of Civil Engineering held the appointment ceremony and academic presentation of Zhang Jinrong as a visiting professor.

On the afternoon of May 26, the School held the appointment ceremony and academic presentation of zhangjinrong as a visiting professor. Fengjun, vice president, presented the letter of appointment to zhangjinrong, chief engineer of Hangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd., and shen shusheng, Secretary of our school's Party committee, presided over the ceremony.

Vice President Fengjun thanked zhangjinrong for his great support to the construction and development of our university. He hoped that zhangjinrong would bring us cutting-edge development concepts and research methods in the field of urban rail transit.

Zhangjinrong expressed his thanks for being employed as a visiting professor of our university. He said that he would make personal contributions to the talent training, scientific research development and social services of the University in the field of urban rail transit. He made an academic report entitled "exploration on the current situation and development of urban rail transit in Hangzhou", introduced the construction planning of Hangzhou Metro, and pointed out the key and difficult points in the construction and operation of Metro.
