The School of Civil and Architectural Engineering's 2nd Young Teachers Teaching Skills Competition

The 17th Young Teachers Teaching Skills Competition of the School of Civil and Architectural Engineering was held in C2-318 on the afternoon of April 4, young teachers aged 30 and below who had been engaged in front-line teaching in the previous three academic years competed. The competition was assessed by two outside experts: Huang Yangfei, vice dean of the college, and Feng Qingxing, chief of the college's monitoring team. With the notion of "taking an appropriate course," this competition primarily examines instructors' basic teaching skills, boosts the use of "Internet + teaching," emphasizes contact between teachers and students in the classroom, and increases the classroom's liveliness.

The participating instructors gave an 11-minute PPT lecture report on the competition rules and assessment standards, and the professional judges commented on the teachers one by one, offering useful ideas and suggestions. Finally, the expert judges presented three first awards, three second-grade prizes, and five third-grade prizes, as well as diplomas to the participating instructors, and chose two teachers, Li Zhengguang and Xie Zuofu, to compete in the school competition.
