Focusing on "Rock Dynamics and New Material Application Development", academicians and experts gathered in this academic forum

From July 7st to 21rd, the 23nd Wuchaoshan International High-end Academic Forum, hosted by our university and the Rock Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, was held, focusing on the theme of "Rock Dynamics and New Material Application Development", and the participants of the forum conducted in-depth discussions. Academician He Manchao and Academician Chen Yunmin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Wu Faquan of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Academician Jiang Yujing and Wang Fawu of the Japanese Academy of Engineering, Academician Zhou Yingxin of the Singapore Academy of Engineering, Distinguished Professor of Education Jiang Scholar, National Jieqing and other nearly 20 national high-level experts and scholars attended the meeting, more than 180 experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities, scientific research institutes, industry enterprises and engineering and technical personnel attended the conference offline, and more than 14000, people listened to the conference report online.

On the morning of the 22nd, the opening ceremony of the forum was held. Professor Chen Jianmeng, President of ZUST, attended and delivered a speech, presided over by Vice President Professor Li Qipeng. Chen Jianmeng welcomed the experts, scholars and industry representatives at home and abroad, and briefly introduced the development of the school. He pointed out that the holding of this forum will build a good platform for the industry to exchange ideas and collide wisdom, and also provide a good opportunity for our university to learn from the advanced achievements and experience in related research fields across the country, and help the university further improve the quality of talent training, the comprehensive strength of disciplines and the ability to serve the society.

Academician He Manchao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, emphasized in his speech that open cooperation is the unavoidable logic of scientific and technological progress and productivity development, and that scientific research achievements should be shared by all mankind, and he urged scientific and technological workers in the industry to promote in-depth practice and innovative development together.

Wu Chuanyu, member of the party group and vice chairman of Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, hoped in his speech that scientific and technological workers in the field of rock dynamics and new material application and development would be the pioneers of the times to promote innovation and development, and strive to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Professor Zou Baoping of the School of Construction and Engineering of our university, as the representative of the conference organizer, made a speech in combination with the research on Hangzhou Metro construction and operation and maintenance maintenance.

In the academic report session, Academician He Manchao, Academician Chen Yunmin, Academician Wu Faquan and Academician Jiang Yujing respectively launched keynote speeches entitled "Sensing Muzhialing Tunnel Construction Method - Tunnel Excavation Compensation Law", "Safe Construction and Intelligent Service of Cross-river Cross-sea Shield Tunnel", "Digital Exploration of Engineering Rock Mass" and "Research on the Coupling Characteristics of Shear and Shear-Percolation of Incomplete Rock Mass". Professor Shi Bin, President of the International Society of Environmental Geotechnical Engineering (ISEG), Professor Shi Bin, President of East China Jiaotong University, Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education Jiang Scholar, and Professor Xu Changjie, National Jieqing, also gave keynote reports entitled "Free Surface Dynamic Effect of Seismic Waves in Strong Seismic Areas", "Intelligent Identification of Geotechnical Engineering Catastrophe Events Driven by Optical Fiber DAS and Vibration Simulation", and "Research Progress on Design Theory and Safety Control of Deep Foundation Pits". The keynote report focused on the latest research results in the field of "rock dynamics and new material application development", so that the offline and online listeners had a deeper understanding of the development of the industry and field.

After the keynote speech, 20 experts and scholars, including Professor Zhou Yingxin, academician of the Singapore Academy of Engineering, Professor Wei Changfu of the Wuhan Institute of Geotechnical Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Qi Jilin of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, gave special invited reports on key issues such as the development direction and hot spots of rock dynamics and new material application development. The academic atmosphere of the forum is warm, and the participants have in-depth exchanges to discuss new theories, new methods and new achievements, which are of positive significance for expanding the research horizon in the field of rock dynamics and promoting the development of scientific theories and production practices in related fields.

On the morning of the 23rd, more than 40 experts and scholars attending the meeting visited the school to participate in the discipline development forum and send treasures for the development of the construction and engineering college of our university.
